Cotterill brings Roberts back to the Turf

Steve Cotterill has today made his first appointment as manager of Burnley Football Club with Cliff Roberts returning to the club as the new Chief Scout.

Roberts returns to Burnley following a 12 month spell at West Ham. Prior to him going to Upton Park he was at the Turf for 5 years. Cotterill had this to say about our new Chief Scout.

"Cliff is someone I have known for a long time on the circuit and brings with him a wealth of knowledge. He is an honest hard working and conscientious person and I am delighted to bring him back to Burnley."

Cliff is also delighted to be back at Burnley....

"I am very happ to be coming back to Turf Moor and excited about helping Steve become a success."
