Austria Tour Confirmed

Burnley have now confirmed dates and locations of the pre-season matches taking place in Austria. Steve Cotterill had confirmed he would be taking the Clarets there for a training camp and has now released full details....

The Clarets will play SV Wacker Burghausen on Tuesday 27th July in the Austrian town of Gmunden. The small town is situated just 35 miles to the East of Salzburg and the match will kick-off at 6pm.

Burnley will then cross the border on Saturday 31st July to take on some more Germans in Bavaria. TSV 1860 Munich will play Burnley in Freilassing, which is just 4 miles north of Salzburg, at 6 in the evening.

At this stage we do not know what will happen if the games are tied after 90 minutes but you can be sure that we will not be wanting penalties against the Germans.
