Leeds United have had a third bid for Richard chaplow turned down. All three bids have been made within the last 7 days and the news that Barry Kilby has rejected them will be pleasing news to Steve Cotterill and Burnley fans.

There's no doubt that Sam Ellis regards Chaplow in high esteem and he will have convinced Kevin Blackwell that the local lad is the man to replace James Milner who was sold to Newcastle for £5 million earlier this week. The Elland Road club originally offered £250,000 which was considered an insult by our chairman. Leeds then doubled the offer to £500,000 which was again dismissed immediately. Leeds were not put off by these rejections and again doubled their previous bid to £1 million. The deal was described as a 'take it or leave it' deal by the Yorkshire club but they may decide to up their bid again if they are unable to find another suitable midfielder.
