Wigan Preview

The Clarets are back in action tonight with a local trip to Wigan. We haven't had much joy at Wigan over the years and have never won in the town.

Burnley will almost certainly field the same side that started in the victory over Crewe at the weekend. Jean-Louis Valois and Amadou Sanokho are both expected to be on the bench for the match with Joel Pilkington likely to lose his place in the 16 man squad. Micah Hyde is still out due to his suspension.

Wigan are likely the field the same team for the 8th consecutive game tonight which will be:-

Filan, Wright, Breckin , Jackson, Baines, Teale, Frandsen, Bullard, McCulloch, Ellington, Roberts.

There's no doubt that it will be a tough game tonight and a victory for the Clarets would see us climb into the Top 10 and give the side plenty of confidence going into the Leicester game on Saturday.
