The Clarets will be on television tonight for the first time since our defeat at West Brom over a year ago. Burnley will receive £60,000 from SKY for broadcasting the game.

There has been plenty of media interest leading upto the game not least from SKY but also from other media sources as Turf Moor will have its first ever singing section tonight. The club have sold over 300 extra tickets for this section and it will be interesting to see if the volume levels at the Turf can be raised tonight.

The Clarets have beaten Derby both times in the recent league meetings between the sides. Graham Branch got the only goal in that important match last April which all but secured our place in the current division.

On the pitch should see Burnley line up with the same side that drew with Coventry on Tuesday night and this would mean no place for Tony Grant. Frank Sinclair is able to play tonight as his one match suspension will be against Aston Villa, in the Carling Cup, on Tuesday.

Derby, who lost at Wolves on Tuesday, will see Lee Grant start in goal after their regular keeper, Lee Camp, was sent off at Molineux. Tommy Smith looks set to miss the match with a hamstring injury so Morten Bisgaard is expected to take his place.
