QPR Preview

Its back to league action tomorrow as the Clarets travel to West London to face Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.

The side will be on a high following our victory against Aston Villa in the Carling Cup. Steve Cotterill will obviously be hoping for a similar performance to the one we got on Tuesday night as we look to bounce back from that league defeat against Derby last week.

The last time we went to Loftus Road was for the cup tie at Fulham 2 seasons ago when we drew 1-1 but our last visit to play QPR at Loftus Road back in October 2000 saw us beat the home side 1-0 with John Mullin getting the only goal for the Clarets. QPR were relegated at the end of that campaign so tomorrow's match will be the first at QPR for 4 years. There's no doubt it will be a difficult game for Burnley as QPR had been in excellent form recently. They recorded 7 wins on the bounce, in the last few weeks, before losing to Preston and Wolves.

James O'Connor is in the squad for the game tomorrow and should start if Cotterill decides to name a more cautious side than the one that beat Villa. Frank Sinclair is back from suspension but may have to settle for a place on the bench. Ian Moore will certainly miss the game and Richard Chaplow is also extremely doubtful.

Arthur Gnohere will not feature for QPR tomorrow as he is currently injured and we may see Les Ferdinand tomorrow if the London club are successful in bringing him back to Loftus Road from Bolton. The Hoops are exepcted to have Paul Furlong and Jamie Cureton back in their side.

The referee for the game will be Nigel Miller(County Durham)
