Forest Reckon Blake is worth 300k

Joe Kinnear obviously thought he could pull a fast one when he offered 300k to Burnley FC in exchange for one Robbie Blake. I think most Burnley fans are still chuckling at this on their way to Brighton.
After we sold Gareth Taylor to Nottingham Forest at the start of the 2003/2004 season for £500,000, you would have thought we would be getting better offers for Robbie after his impressive goal tally at the end of last season.
The question you have to ask is how Forest thought we would even consider such a measly sum of money for Blake when they have put a price tag of reportedly £5 Million on Andy Reid. Joe Kinnear obviously needs a reality check.
What makes the whole situation more bizarre is that the 300k was the sum of two players, which were offered in exchange for Blake, how Forest expected us to think they could replace Blake is another question that we will be pondering on for months to come.

If Forest is serious about buying Robbie Blake, they really need to be digging down into their pockets and producing a few million or else they are just going to keep embarrassing themselves off the pitch as well as having problems on the pitch.
