O'Connor staying for 3 months

James O'Connor will be staying at Turf Moor for another 2 months at Turf Moor in a deal which was sealed today. This comes after several good performances from the W. B.A man and his plea to Steve Cotteril and new Baggies boss Bryan Robson to carry on at the Turf for the maximum stay allowed for him.

James O'Connor has been very impressive in midfield so far this season and put the cross over that got the penalty at the weekend against Millwall. He was arguably most impressive against Q. P. R. and Leeds. He will be at the Turf until after the Cardiff City away game on the 22nd of January, in this period he will be hoping to get his first goal for The Clarets.

This is good news for Burnley, and a few fans have commented on the proposed signing of him if the sale of Turf Moor goes through.
