Reaction to Draw

Steve Cotterill has given his reaction to the news that Burnley will play Liverpool in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup. The two sides will meet on either the 8th or the 9th January.

Cotterill had this to say.....

"It's a fantastic draw for Burnley Football Club and we're all delighted.

"Liverpool will be the third Premiership club to come to Turf Moor this season and I would expect it will be a sell-out.

"I certainly hope so anyhow because I've been looking forward to seeing the ground full since I arrived and, as yet it's just not happened.

"I just want to sample it and this draw sets the scene, so it should be a tremendous occasion for us."

The club are also waiting to see whether the game will be televised which will give the club an extra £150,000. We believe that a decision will be made once the situation between the location of the Yeading V Newcastle match is resolved.
