Liverpool Game

Tonights re-arranged FA Cup tie with Liverpool is expected to go ahead as planned. There have been some concerns over the game with snow falling in the town during the night and early this morning.
Dave Edmundson was interviewed on Sky Sports News earlier this morning and was extremely confident that the game would go ahead. The covers have been on the pitch since yesterday afternoon and will not come off until 5pm tonight. It takes approximately 45 minutes for the covers to come off the pitch so if there is to be a pitch inspection it will take place around 6pm but Dave Edmundson pointed out that the pitch was playable prior to the covers going on.
We will keep you updated with the weather in Burnley.
The one other relevant piece of news is the date of the replay should the game end all square tonight. It will take place on Friday 28th January(8pm) at Anfield.
