Burnley 0 - 1 Leeds Utd (FT)

The clarets conceded their first goal at home in over 700 minutes of football yesterday as they lost 1-0 to Leeds in a drab affair. The clarets failed to play any real attacking football in the first 75 minutes of the match and even missed a later penalty.

However a draw would have been only just deserved against a generally poor Leeds side.

To make matters worse captain Frank Sinclair was sent off part way through the second half for a second bookable offence. He will now miss the game away at Coventry next weekend.
