Bhurdwaz, a Mauritian Burnley fan brings us his latest column of a match he saw last week and one young player who caught his eye.

Yesterday I attended an international match played between AS Port Louis against Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa. Luckily the Mauritian club won 2-1. However, Kaizer qualified for the next round on total aggregate goals .

One player who impressed me was a Kaizer player named Collins Mbesama. He is nick-named The Hurricane and plays forward. He is only 21 years old. The club has produced a string of players of international class, one of them is an MU player, named Quinton Fortune.

This morning I phoned its President-Director General, Mr Kaizer Motaung in Victorial Hotel where they are all staying. I broached the subject for a possible trial at Burnley. He was not against the idea but said after all matches in the Championship of South Africa are concluded .

I have already informed the club about my demarche and it is up to them to follow up. They may leave Mauritius this afternoon. They are staying at Victoria Hotel. The tel and fax numbers are (230) 204 2000 and (230) 261 8224 respectively.

I strongly believe that all stake holders have to contribute in one way or the other in the continued process of strenghtening of the club. With little money and a lot of brainy work we can still achive our target.
