O'Connor signs for £175,000

Burnley today clinched the signing of WBA midfielder James O'Connor in a deadline day deal. The roaming 25 year old midfielder, who had been on loan earlier in the season with the clarets, has signed for 3.5 years.

The fee involved is an initial £175,000 with a further £75,000 should we get to the Premiership.

O'Connor was part of the team who had the best run of the season, picking up 22 points while he was at the club.
