Two Players Signed

Steve Cotterill has been a busy man over the last few weeks as he looks to strengthen the squad over the Summer months ahead of next seasons campaign.

He has today announced his first signings with Wade Elliott and Garreth O'Connor agreeing terms with the Clarets over the weekend. They will officially sign on July 1st and will both arrive as free transfers.

"They are two lads that I know very well and they are in the same bracket as Michael Duff, who I said was a `calculated risk'," said Cotterill.

"I mean that in the nicest possible sense in that I think they are capable of stepping up a level and I hope they can both play as well as they did the last time they visited Turf Moor.

"People will remember Wade from his performance against us in the FA Cup last season when he gave Mo Camara probably the toughest game he had all season, they may not remember Gareth as much, but I am sure he will make just as good an impression."
