Burnley 1 - 1 PAOK Salonika

The Clarets were held to a 1-1 draw tonight as they played PAOK Salonika in Austria in the first friendly game of the tour.

Garreth O'Connor equalised for the Clarets in the 57th minute, after the Greek opponents had taken the lead early in the first half through a Miecel close range effort.

Kyle Lafferty and Chris McCann played in the final 10 minutes making a good impression.

Michael Duff left the field after 20 minutes following a knee injury picked up earlier on in the game after a strong tackle, he could be back in action by weekend. His replacement, Wade Elliott, had an instant effect and following the numerous chances we had after this in the first half. It was only a matter of time before we would have scored.
