Fans Report Leicester 0-1 Burnley

Carrying on with our fans reports, here's wm_daves leicester report. Leicester 0-1 Burnley. Remember get your reports in to thelongsider@yahoo.co.uk

First half was scrappy. We won plenty of ball but kept giving it back to the Foxes. We had no chances on goal, whilst they had a couple. McGreal made on outstanding tackle in particular. Similarly scrappy to the Leeds game from our point of view. Leicester were strong at the back and the service ot Ade was poor

Second half much much better. We started winning balls in the midfield and keeping posession. At first the passing very slow and deliberate till the goal. A real slick move that caught Leicester out completely. Duff who still wasn't up to his best drilled a quick pass to feet of ****** just outside of the box, ******* took the strong pass brilliantly and in one move had turned with the ball under control, took it forward and shot hard and lowacross goal. The keeper could only get the lightest of touches - maybe enough to stop the shot going in at the back post, but the was Ade following in to score from a yard or 2, a tap in. We had the majority of posession till the last 10 mins when - as expected - we were under the cosh. In this period the Beast made a great save to tip a header over the bar, but other than that no real worries. As usual parts of my finger nails lay rotting on cold concrete flooring

Summary - game of 2 halves, if we can play regularly as we did in the second at Leicester - and the first at Wolves - we will rapidly climb this table toward a playoff position. Oh the Officials were****again and made some dreadful mistakes, none fortunately affecting this great result

Forgot to say ******* may have been J O'C, but not sure without the specs and with the effect of overhead light.
