Micah Hyde is cleared of Violent Conduct

Breaking news this morning. The FA have not been able to prove the charges of violent conduct against Micah Hyde. The charge related to our game with Leeds last month.

Although no official word on the FA's Disciplinary site yet, the Official site are running the story that Micah Hyde has been CLEARED of all charges of violent conduct relating to our home game with Leeds.

Following our defeat to Leeds on Saturday 15th October, there was an altercation in the tunnel with rumours running rife.

Shaun Derry of Leeds received stitches to the face which was meant to have been caused by Micah in a rumoured "head butt".

Micah was immediately charged with violent conduct and asked for a personal hearing. During this time the FA spoke to police and match officials, but at the hearing in Manchester yesterday afternoon the case was unproven and all charges dropped.

This is great news for Micah and Burnley, the midfielder being so influential on games this season, he would have been a big loss over the coming games. He is now free to continue against Leicester on Saturday.

The Longside comments: "It is good news and something which the Leeds fans will find hard to swallow I am sure. Let's hope nothing spills over into next Tuesdays game at Elland Road. As regards Micah he can get back with a clear head and continue his superb form in front of our back four.
