 With Akinbiyi gone, and at least two other strikers too expensive for us, we have managed to get Michael Ricketts on loan from Leeds. He is expected straight into the starting line up. We have also got Marc Pugh back and he has been called down to join the squad. He isn't expected to figure. The last two times we have met, both at Turf Moor, we have drawn 1-1, but with stats like ours I would be amazed if we have a draw tonight! Both defence's have been suspect to say the least, and fair enough both attacks, but something needs to give tonight. Brighton have won 1 game in 6 and we have drawn 1 in 6! Brighton need to get clear of the bottom 3 urgently, we need to do something to stop the rot. Well I'm trying to write this at 3:55pm and no news at all today! With Barry Kilby reported to be driving down and seeing SC this afternoon, all eyes will be on the dug out tonight. Let's not forget the window doesn't shut till midnight, maybe a meeting with BK saying "yes" to something may mean an absent SC whilst a new player is grabbed last minute. We can but dream!
