18-Year Old Striker, Kyle Lafferty rejoins the Clarets after a spell on loan at Darlington where he scored 3 goals from 9 starts..

Lafferty Returns From Quakers

Kyle joined the Quakers earlier last month in a 1-month loan deal. This was renewed on the 6th with a 24-hour recall clause. The Clarets have now taken advantage of this to add more depth up front in preperation for Saturday's game against Coventry.

This will be a blow for the Quakers but may just be what the Clarets are looking for. We havn't won away since Luton and 3 points on Saturday will just be what the team need.

On the recall the Manager told the Official website:

"I think it's done the lad the power of good being out on loan.

"It sounds silly, but he seems to have grown up in a couple of months and I think that's what going out on loan does to a young player

"We're delighted to bring him back into training and he's been nice and sharp. We've just got to bear in mind that he's a young lad, but we're pleased with how he's done and how he's come back.

"We're very thankful to Darlington because we think they've done a great job with him."
