Derby County striker Marcus Tudgay is rumoured to be one of Paul Sturrock's targets to solve the striker crisis in the team. Tudgay's agent has revealed two Championship sides are after the 22-year-old striker on loan with a view to a permanent signing when his contract expires in the summer.

Marcus Tudgay's agent Saif Rubie has confirmed that a number of Championship sides are looking at a possible loan move for the 22-year-old Derby striker, prompting rumours that Paul Sturrock views him as the man to solve Wednesday's striker crisis.
Tudgay doesn't seem to be involved in manager Phil Brown's plans this season with Paul Peschisolido, Stern John and the on-loan Mounir El Hamdaoui in front of him in the pecking order.
Sturrock may opt to loan Tudgay until the transfer window re-opens in January when a full transfer can then go ahead.
Tudgay made his first appearence for the Rams in August 2002 and went on to score 9 goals in 22 starts last season after an impressive term. He has had less opportunities this season starting just 2 league games.
Crewe Alexandre are also rumoured to be among the clubs chasing his signature.
Meanwhile, Swansea City have denied recieving a bid from Wednesday for Lee Trundle.
