Wednesday captain Lee Bullen has said he will consider his future at Hillsborough if he's not part of Paul Sturrocks first team plans by christmas. The Scot understands his team mates are playing well and that he still has a role to play as club captain, but wants to be playing first team football.

Wednesday club captain Lee Bullen has told Radio Sheffield that he will consider his future at the club if he is not in Paul Sturrock's first team plans by christmas.
The scot told BBC Radio Sheffield: ''If I'm going to continue playing reserve team football for the rest of the season it makes it more difficult for me, but I am still the club captain so I've still got a role to play.''
The 34-year-old has played 46 games for the Owls, steering them towards promotion via the play-offs last season, but has found his chances limited to substitute appearances this season thanks to the fine form of Frankie Simek.
Bullen admits it's hard to complain at the lack of opportunities because his team-mates have been doing so well, but also admits it's frustrating not being given a chance to prove his worth to the club.
"I've been tempted to bang on the gaffer's door but the lads have done well so I've got no ammunition at all, apart from the fact I want to play.
"The manager has got a simple one to turn round to me and say 'the lads that are playing are doing their job well, you're just going to have to bide your time'."
