That said..Burnley always play their heart out and I wouldnt expect anything different..but neither will Arsene and Co.

People love to say things like this just in case they are wrong. Its much more fulfilling to be correct about something which seems to be stupid, and much easier to take when you are 'wrong' about an issue if Arsenal win.

Villa are an on form team they drew there, Man U lost there, thats why they are not a poor team at home.
The results dont lie they have as good a record as most top four teams at home.

Tom's right about gloves. It's good for the circulation, so should enhance performance. All that stuff about 'only pansies wear gloves to play football' is so old school it's not true. Only in this country are we still stupid enough to believe not wearing gloves when it's freezing shows how tough you are. One thing that will be tough, initially at least, is the game. I'll settle for any kind of scrappy win there, to be honest.

Almunia's not exactly the king of clean sheets this season, so I think any Premier League team could score against us. Especially when we're away from home.

My prediciton:

As usual, we will start slow with Burnley at full cry, charging at our box with hoof ball to unsettle our defence.

A few hard-tackle and bodycheck to intimidate our midfield.
We try to string togetehr 2 or 3 passes but Burnley si quicker and more physiclaly and go in full-blooded challenge for any 50:50 balls.

You can wear your rose tinted goggles and be positive about it all but the rest of us will be REALISTIC. KNowing the way Arsenal have [played last 5 years most, if not you, knew we were always going to be given hard work from Burnely and that was right. I thought they'd be equally tough but yes I'd rather
have to go to Turf Moor needing three points than Anfield
but things don't pan out logically in football.

We didn't win, and I knew full well that Arsenal may not have won, but that does not make me any less wrong for saying we should win a game like that, because we should.

Last season when we were promoted when we played the clubs that got relegated we didn't beat any of them at their places we didn't beat a single one of them. Games against teams that are lower down the table aren't games you should expect to win. You can't expect to win any game. You have to get the victory on the pitch.
