A Happy New Year to all Arsenal Times readers, and thanks for your support over the last year. Wenger made it clear in his pre West Ham interview that he will rotate his team. He has players on the edge of injury that need a rest. However he does not believe that the team will be less strong than the one which played at Portsmouth.
One change Arsene is considering is the inclusion of Senderos, who has just recovered from injury. Wenger believes Phil is now fit enough to play. Whether he is good enough is another issue, but Gallas will have to be rested at some time. It is to be assumed that players such as Silvestre and Fabianski will get a chance without any serious weakening of the team.
Wenger believes his teams last performance at West Ham was a good one, losing the lead was due to poor refereeing decisions, not a loss of concentration. True the decisions were poor, but the team was looking flaky just before they were made.

However a draw will not be a lot of use to West Ham, it will just give the club more games than it needs as it battles relegation. West Ham have their own problems with a long injury list, and also suspensions.
Mark Noble, Scott Parker, Danny Gabbidon and Herita Ilunga are all suffering from hamstring injuries. Defender Jonathan Spector may deputise for Ilunga, but forward Guillermo Franco is suspended.
They also have transfer question marks hanging over some of the club's best players, with the press putting price tags on Carlton Cole, Green, Upson, and Scott Parker. That kind of speculation must be great for morale.

Therefore it could be a good time to rotate, but Wenger will have to judge carefully to get the balance right. Meanwhile Arsenal have the famous game in hand to play against Bolton on the following Wednesday. It is clear that Wenger is up for this; as a win could put Arsenal in second place one point behind Chelsea.
Wenger denied interest in Huntelaar, saying that he cannot move as he cannot have play for two clubs in the same season, even though he has hardly played. Not being a legal expert I cannot confirm or deny that supposition. However, he did not deny that if he can find a suitable striker he will buy one.

one thing that it shows is Wenger is not looking for a loan signing as the rules on that are different
However I dont know the exact details of Huntelaar. One would assume a loan was a possibility, but Wenger didnt mention that

If we want forward, then buy premiership players liek Carlton COle, James Beatte, Kelvin Davies, even as a "Stop-gap" measures for thsi season.
It cna only beef-up the squad and inject an element of unpredictability into our attacks of "pass and move" with an accurate hoof-ball from Fabregas......
And that is why Ferguson took a gmable with Michael Owen.....Chelski with Anelka.
And why Hughes bought Adebayor, Santa Cruz, Bellamy and Barry for "instant" success.
Like it or not, Hughes had achieved the first lucrative target of fighting for Top-4, and it is Mancini who reaps the benefit now.
I really really wish Liverpool and Aston VIlla well in finishing ahead of Abu Dhabi City.
And I dearly wish Twitchy's S*CUMS will experience a "Pompey" financial crisis in 2010...

foreign players seem to adapt faster for other clubs.some players are smart enough to adapt faster like rosicky,nasri etc.. even vermelean so it all depends.all these players you named may turn into half season wonders.of all you named Kevlin davis is the only i really rate.
