When Boys Were Men - It might not be over yet Part to play
Parade?
By Microdire
February 10 2010
After picking a solitary point out of nine in consecutive three games, it is more real than apparent that Wenger's troop is out of the title race, but something inside of me tells me that it might not be over yet. Though it is not entirely in our hands, nevertheless, we have a part to play.
That part is getting the maximum points in the last 13 matches left (thrashing every team below us as of today) starting with the Scousers later tonight. On paper we have the simplest of games as the 09/10 EPL season draws to a close among the top three.
The big question is can Wenger and his troops do it? Do they have any chance at all; the obvious frailty of this crop of players and the coach must be rectified and cured of being a bunch of recidivists. I am 99.9 % sure that if we pick the maximum 39 points at stake, there could be a title parade after six years in London N5.
Taking a cursory look at the fixtures of the two teams above us as the EPL season of 09/10 reaches the closing stage. The arrogant Chavs has the egomaniac Man United, the money spoil brats of Abu Dhabi City, the top four pretender Spuds, the over hyped Villains, the crisis laden Scousers and their blue half neighbour. Realistically, I don't see the Russian Kalashnikovs taking down all these foes. At least Chelsea will drop 6 points plus 1 or 2 draws against the clubs that will be fighting for dear lives for a Europa League place.
Man United also has games against the above mentioned opposition, but they have a better chances of picking up more points against these teams than the Chavs, because in recent seasons, somehow they always get points when it matter most probably with the exception of Liverpool that recently has its hand on their jugular. Although this season might be different with the exit of CR7 and Tevez from United ranks: their contributions might be missing and longed for.
Back to my wobbling club, Wenger did it before in the 97/98 season. Arsenal went on a storming run during the final three months of the season to take advantage of having three games in hand over leaders Manchester United and clinch the Premiership title after overhauling United's 11-point lead. The Arsenal team of then had boys that were men in Le Sulk and PV4 in the midst of real men like Mr Arsenal, Keown, Winterburn, Dixon, Bergy, Overmars et al that delivered when the chips were down.
This time, they don't have the luxury of three games in hand but we do have an easy run in. Maybe AW has to tell the story to the class of 09/10. History has a funny way of repeating itself. The big question is can the class of 09/10 repeat history? The Arsenal speaking world is watching to see if the class of 09/10 are the ones to succeed in terms of trophy (ies) after five years; or shall we have to wait for another?

"Arrogant" chavs? How are we arrogant?
Are you for @#$%& real Dixon?
Erm lets see, Ashley Cole........£5 grand?
Michael Ballack, everytime he opens his @#$%& mouth.
JT, thinks he can have an affair with his best mates wife (not to forget the rest of the team having a go too), get her up the duff, and pay for an abortion, but of course, he thinks can get away with that. Or selling tours of your training ground without consulting the owner!!
Nooooo, no arroogance there.
What about Kakuta. Or Mikel getting tapped up by throwing cash at them. Nope, surely that can't be consdidered arrogant.
Do I have to continue?

The man who went on TV at the start of one season (I forget which) and said
'Yes I think this years league title winner will come from the small minority of one team'
Thats er, a bit arrogant.
One of my favourite football moments of all time was him going on the podium in Moscow and literally thousands of mancs filling the stadium and worlds media with the song 'Peter Kenyon is a wank*r'.
TV tried to drown it out but could not. Great stuff.
Some guy has made a series of photos called Sh*t London
and there's a picture of a Chavs fan doing a @#$%& salute
with his little girl by his side. Utterly classless
team who sum up the brash times we live in.

We can do it, but we will have to be spectacular, I don't like this idea of Bendtner being our focal point but who knows' he may surprise us, it will be some f***ing surprise!
Lewis, it will be such a big f*cking surprise, that when (if) Bendnter surprises me, my f*cking heads going to fall off...
