Straight From Horse's Mouth van Persie Will Feature
He's Back

Arsene Wenger confirmed at today's press conference that Robin van Persie will feature in the North London Derby. He stated that RvP is fit and is doing well in training. He stated that RvP will feature at Spurs but did not expect him to start, however he will be on the bench. Wenger described him as fit and sharp.
No doubt this will give the squad a big boost; but how much should be expected from RvP after such a long lay-off is debatable. It wasn't until his fourth game in the Premiership that he hit his rich vein of form. I remember some blogs, not this one, writing him off. It was claimed he could not adapt to Wenger's new 4-3-3, but adapt he did. Sadly his injury saw the Arsenal goal scoring rate drop dramatically, and it is yet to recover.
With leading goal scorer Fabregas now out for the rest of the season RvP's goals would be more important than ever. However he probably won't start at Spurs and fans might have to be patient for the first goal.
Meanwhile a draw will be of little use to either team, as Spurs are now out of the cup this is their cup final with only 4th place to play for. A win for the Gunners would give them a feint chance of winning the league, anything less than that will end the title hopes for another year.

I remember nik misplaced a pass to rvp when we played the spuds this season and he went absolutely ballistic...glad to see him back
Yeah, wasn't too impressed by that after seeing RvP not pass to anyone himself.
