At Last Breaking News From Emirates
No Vu Vu For You
By Boris Mellor
July 20 2010
With rumours running rife that Eduardo is leaving, and that also it is possible that Almunia might also go I decided to check out Sky Sports News. It's not something I do that often. But with Wenger having mislaid four centre backs in one season; and at his own admission there is no number one available I thought I had better check it out.
Sure enough Breaking News From the Emirates. I squinted to read the rolling strap, who had been bought or sold? Somebody called Vu Vu, perhaps they had misspelt Du Du, on looking closer I observed that it wasn't a transfer but a ban on vuvuzelas.
For once Pravda, or Arsenal.con as it is laughingly known, was first with the news:
"Further to their hugely debated involvement at this summer's World Cup Finals in South Africa, Arsenal Football Club has decided to forbid the use of vuvuzelas within Emirates Stadium with immediate effect.
This decision has been taken to ensure the enjoyment and safety of supporters on Matchdays, which is of paramount importance to the Club."Not a lot of debate here, but Wenger is keen that the songs are not drowned out. Mind you the only song we hear these days is, "there is only one Arsene Wenger", and that gets fainter by the game. If he doesn't buy that number one soon it might not be heard at all.
If that should be the case maybe the club would reconsider its decision.

Secondly about the planned protests, I am staunchly against any such. All hail the dark lord Wenger e.t.c.
