Proof that Wembley Messed it up for Arsenal Fans

Since the Article on how Wembley messed up for Arsenal fans with Block P tickets Arsenal Times has been handed more evidence as to what really happened. The pathetic reply from Wembley is either a mistake or a deliberate lie, I suggest they carry out a real investigation at to what really happened, it is just not good enough to blame the fans.

 Nick an Arsenal fan has provided his view of what happened and a photograph to prove it below.

I’d like to give you my version of events trying to get through entrance P cup final day (£65 face value ticket)

I arrived by 4.00 – one of the party – a girl with us was keen to see Leona Lewis sing abide with me – no turning up 4.45.

There was already a queue – It did not materialise at 4.45

On joining it  -  it was moving noticeably slow. So much so that many were trying to blag their way through the disabled entrance – a manual door (not gate).

By 4.30 people were getting niggled – some tried in vane to get through other entrances – the Wembley staff even said if your ticket did not specifically have entrance P on it to use other gates.

I think we all had P on our ticket because no one made a move to other entrances.

Then along came two mounted police – who took some of the brunt – but their response was awful – accusing us of arriving from pubs too late and all together.

Fortunately I think they saw the error of their ways and moved off to be replaced by three foot police officers

These were more helpful in approach trying to calm us and saying they knew the gates were slow and were trying to do something about it.

Certainly as I edged my way to the turnstile I could see many a ticket just not operating the gates – When it eventually came to my turn my ticket also stuck (it had come through Arsenal Box Office – no chance of a fake and had been well looked after during the day)

 We got through the turnstile dead on kick off time

The” inside Wembley staff” were as useful and helpful as a chocolate Tea pot – supervisor standing back doing nothing.

By the time we had made it to the back of the top tier we were just taking our seats as Hull scored their first goal.

Luckily the rest of the day turned out better.

Sunday I was at the parade.

Monday -  I had taken the day off I watched the ITV recording – and it is a picture of this I attach – it is an aerial shot of Wembley just prior to kick off (Post National Anthem being sung)

I think you can guess which entrance is the only one with that queue.

Do Wembley really think we all ONLY turned up at entrance P late – what probability!!!

This really need to be taken further

The dangerous attitude of Wembley denying the fault and treating decent fans once again (parallels to what I let you draw your own conclusion) like dirt.

 For starters I shall ask both my MP and the health and safety executive for an independent assessment.
