Player Ratings v Spurs MOTM Guendouzi

An exciting game full of errors, lots of cheating by Spurs and a ref prepared to tolerate it. Probably a fair result although Arsenal had more shots many were too close to Loris.

Leno- 6 Made an error on their first goal but was solid after that
AMN-7 One of his better defensive games, three up seemed to cramp his attacking style
Sokratis-6 Could have scored the winner but Kolasinac slipped offside more shite effect of VAR
Luiz-6 One very good tackle in the penalty area, some good forward passing, but went missing at some key moments
Kolasinic-6 Actually one of his better games apart from drifting offside

Torreira 6 Took hell of a battering no protection from ref, seemd out of position to me
Xhaka-4 Amazing stupidity at times, surprised he went so long without a card
MOTM Guendouzi-9 Box to Box great pass for Auba goal, absolute dynamo
Pepe-6 Some great play but not able to find the net

Lacazette -8 Brilliant goal, ran himself into the ground

Auba-8 Playing three up didn’t quite work for him, when changes came he benefitted and scored an amazing goal

Ceballos-8 Showed what a creative player prepared to dig in can do in a high tempo game should have been brought on earlier

Mkhitaryan 6 Restored a balance to the strike force even if he lacked punch

Emery 7 Terrible first half, couldn’t have got it so wrong, second half he tore Tottenham a new one, Arsenal had twice as many shots as Spurs
