Campaign to save old Invincible

Fans in North London were shocked to hear that the last of the Invincibles has been sacked.
So far there has been a stunned silence - but having recovered from the shock some fans are now talking of a campaign to reinstate the Arsenal stalwart.
He has reigned over 27 years of stunning success, with numerous titles and cups. Some even say he is Mr Arsenal.
In an attempt to head off more criticism the Club are offering a big Partey, but they will have to work very hard to get it going before 10pm tonight.

Dinosaurs are dead to me.
Since the end of WW1, 1919, when the FA restarted its 4 tier football league, with Arsenal fc in the 1st div, thereโs only ever been one club to have never been relegated from Div 1/ EPL.

Another PR disaster does no one actually think these things through.Pay Ozil a small fortune a week to sit on his ar$e but sack the club mascot to save what .

Arsenal mascot Gunnersaurus is set to continue in his matchday and community roles once the coronavirus pandemic allows supporters back inside the Emirates Stadium.
Contrary to a number of reports, the PA news agency understands the dinosaur mascot will still entertain fans upon their return โ although it is currently unclear who will be under the costume.
Jerry Quy has portrayed Gunnersaurus for the past 27 years but was made redundant as part of the job-cutting scheme implemented by Arsenal in the summer.
Ferking Ozil could do it.

MESUT OZIL has offered to pay the full wages of Arsenal mascot Gunnersaurus if it means saving his job.
Jerry Quy has worn the famous green suit for the past 27 years but was made redundant as part of the job-cutting scheme implemented by Arsenal in the summer.
It is understood the dinosaur mascot (pictured left with Ozil) will still entertain fans once the coronavirus pandemic allows for supporters to go back into the Emirates Stadium, although it is currently unclear who will be inside the costume after Quy lost his job as a supporter liaison for away matches.
Ozil reportedly earns ยฃ350,000 a week as Arsenalโs top-paid player but is currently not in the first-team picture under manager Mikel Arteta.
Writing on Instagram, the German World Cup winner said: โI was so sad that Jerry Quy aka our famous & loyal mascot @officialgunnersaurus and integral part of our club was being made redundant after 27 years.
โAs such, Iโm offering to reimburse @Arsenal with the full salary of our big green guy as long as I will be an Arsenal player so Jerry can continue his job that he loves so much.โ
