This was a truely horrible match. If Arsenal play like this against Villarreal the tie will be over by the first leg. Arteta has to start Martinelli in Spain
Leno- Another error from him. It's becoming a habit-2
Chambers- Is not a right back, lacks agility to play there-6
Holding- Didn't have much to do but a few sloppy passes-6
Mari- His lack of pace shows when an attacker is running at him-6
Xhaka-s Lack of pace and agility proved costly-5
Partey- Another poor game from him. His passing was shocking-4
Ceballos- Back to his spinning worse. Offered nothing-5
Saka- was off the pace and Digne had him in his pocket-6
Smith Rowe- Took too many safe passes when we needed him to run with the ball-6
Pepe- Didn't produce much but 1 good cross-6
Nketiah- Was lively and holded the ball up well in the first half. Wasn't much of a goal threat but the best of a poor bunch-7
Odegard- Couldn't get involved-5
Martinelli- 1 half chance but didn't get much service. Should have started-5
Willian- Not on long enough

They were all abysmal.
Play fullbacks at fullback and get your second best midfielder in midfield.

Ryan to play against Villarreal?
Since the end of WW1, 1919, when the FA restarted its 4 tier football league, with Arsenal fc in the 1st div, thereโs only ever been one club to have never been relegated from Div 1/ EPL.

Absolutely terrible tonight.
It's becoming a habit.
GS & Me now Leno isn't good enough.
Said before Xhaka isn't a fullback.
He got skinned for the goal.
Obviously not wanted at midfield either.
Why are we playing players out of positions when we don't have to ?
Is Partey a worse buy than Pepe ?
Because he ferking terrible.
We are actually managing to make Saka and ESR look average now.
Well done Lego.

Yes I heard that.
I hope history repeats because after the 1930 loss Afc became the top club in England, during the 1930s.

Partey hasn't even reached Guendouzi levels for us. I can't believe how badly he's playing.

I thought we played well. Ancelotti had to bring on Willian at end to make sure everton close out the match. And he made a difference for them.
