Nervous Arsenal scrape past Watford Ratings Tavares MotM?

A win was all that mattered today. The performance wasn't great but with Liverpool at Anfield next after the Interlull the points will be important.
Ramsdale 6- Poor decision to come out of goal when White had King under control, apart from that done well.
Tomi 6 - Much better 2nd half. Struggled in the first.
White 7 - Looked very assured and drove forward well at times and for our goal.
Gabriel 8 - Dominant again. Leader at the back.
Tavares 9 - MOTM. Brilliant in attack and defence. His delivery into the box was exceptional.
Lokonga 7- Made a few mistakes but grew into the game well.
AMN 7- Done well but needs to cut out being sloppy on the ball.
Saka 8- Tore Rose a new one, and is slowly getting back to his best.
Laca 6 - Poor performance but did work hard. Got the pen.
Smith Rowe 7- Good runs into the box and got a goal. Needs to impact games more still though.
Auba 6 - Not at his best. Missed a pen and was lucky Odegaard disallowed goal didn't cost us. Did put in another great shft though.
Odegaard 7- Very good when he came on. Unlucky with the disallowed goal.
Elneny 6 - Tightend things up

I know I was nervous, White really beginning to look good. Whatever Partey's faults I feel we realy missed him. Our transitions were far more ponderous.

We also miss Xhaka.
BTW, Alan Smith on commentary was talking rubbish about Tierney having better quality in his delieverys than Tavares. Tavares Put in 3 or 4 great crosses and was solid in defence.
Tierney shouldn't walk back in, Tavares has earned the right to play.

AMN was worth more than a 7. He was everywhere, great passing and his readers mg of the game was brilliant. Late on he also covered our back four.
Also, I can't fathom how you can give Gabriel an 8 but white a 7 when he was just as solid but also is the reason we scored.

I wouldn't say AMN passing was great.
Gabriel was the one who had to deal with their lone striker King more than White. White was also involved in their late chance when he could have cleared the ball but left it to Ramsdale.

Maitland-Niles produced an assured performance in the centre of the park with five tackles, two interceptions while winning seven of his eight ground duels attempted.
On the contrary, it was a mixed performance for Albert Sambi Lokonga. The Belgian registered just one tackle and interception and lost possession in defensive positions.

Apparently Watford committed a Premier League season high number of 19 fouls in the game yesterday against 6 by Arsenal. Yet we got 4 yellow cards to their 3 !

Watford is the new Bolton and Stoke. Good thing they don't use a towel to clean the ball before they take throw ins.

Raineri is adopting Bolton Wanderer and Stoke City physical intimidation tactics to knock us out of our strides to hold us to a draw.
No sympathy from me when we continue to playing with their cheating players dropping like flies on the ptich.
