Saka and Partey MotM Ratings v Villa

A vital win that would have hurt the other top 4 contenders as they'd have expected us to drop points. The celebrations at the end showed how big it was. Next up Palace in 2 week's tomorrow, which will be another tough game. Now we have to pray none of our players get injured in the interlull!

Thought Tierney did well.
Odegaard was pretty average again.
Lacazette Worked hard again and should have passed to Odegaard.
A good performance and vital 3 points going into the international break.
At least some will get a break.

I also thought Tierney was good but Partey was the star of the show. His fitness is pivotal to this teams success.
Agree with the subs, Pepe was awful and Nketiah didn’t look like he was trying,
I'm including Lacazette in that 4 or 5.
OK with him stopping as squad player for less money.

Nketiah looked disinterested when he came on. Think he's gone.
We no he isn't a top class striker and will need replacing.
His involvement in the team is what he is there for.
Experience etc.

Whatever fans think of Laca one thing is certain, if he gets injured we are royally screwed unless we change tactic because Martinelli can't play that role and Nketiah is f.ucking terrible.
