Saliba Dream Debut Player Ratings at Croydon Palace

If Arsenal had taken their best two chances early on this might have been less frenetic and nerve wracking, it may also have shut up the provincial Croydon Palace's fans attempts to influence the ref. Instead we had to endure the antics of Zaha et al claiming fouls and handballs where none existed. However all praise to the defence for keeping a clean sheet.Saliba had an amazing debut for his not so new club. Ratings follow:
Ramsdale 7 - Made some good saves. Had a couple of distribution issues
White 6 - Did ok. Not his best game on the ball and played out of position.
Saliba 8 - offer him £150k a week
Gabriel 7. - Did well. The handball shout was worrying
Zinchenko 6 - Looked worrying defensively but good on the ball.
Partey 6 - Did alright
Xhaka 7 - Silly booking but played well
Ødegaard 3 - Awful performance. Should’ve had 3 shots
Martinelli 6 - Good goal, should’ve had two
Jesus 7 - Brilliant closing down. Looked tired in the second half
Saka 5 - Helped out defensively but had no one to play with (One great corner that led to first goal and forced the error for the second.Editor)
Nketiah 6 - Provided energy
Tierney 6 - Provided energy and looked decent
Lokonga - Not on long enough to rate
