A good performance against a limited team prepared to be rough and nasty but without skills, well apart from cheating that is.  Could have had a hatful of goals but it didnt happen but showed resilience nonetheless. On to Utd. If we win there it will really send a statement. RATIGS FOLLOW:

RAMSDALE 5- Didn't have much to do but should never be conceading that kind of goal. Needs to command his area.

WHITE 8 - Thought he very good tonight. Was dominant and made a few good passes.

SALIBA 7 - Done well but a few sloppy moments at the start of the 2nd half.

GABRIEL 8 - Thought he was very good. Leader at the back and didn't give their forwards a sniff.

TIERNEY 5 - lost a lot of pace. Looks stiff and is levels below technically and tactically. Players don't want to pass the ball to him.

LOKONGA 8 - Thought he was very good. Few great passes and was cool under preaaure. Needs to show consistany now.

XHAKA 8 - Once again put in top performance. One of the beat midfieders in the league.

ODEGAARD 8 - Brilliant again. Makes us tick and is so intelligent in finding space.

SAKA 8 - Should have scored but looks like he's got his MOJO back, was going pastvplayers with ease.

JESUS 8 - Liverwire. Villa's defenders had twisted blood trying to pin him down.

MARTINELLI 9 - My MOTM. Put in a huge shift and was going past player and was creative. Great finish for his goal.

NEKTIAH 8 - Yes it was 10 minutes but he showed his ginger and pace and skill. He's become so sharp. Brilliant player to bring on

TOMI 6 - Looks rusty.
