Ratings V City Saka MotM

Saka held his nerve to send the City keeper the wrong way to end the first half all even. Arsenal were looking the better team but made too many errors in the second half. The crowd remained loyal and gave the players a good send off at the end of the game. Of course this result raises more questions than definte answers. Only time will tell how far Arsenal have advanced this season. Player Ratings follow:

Aaron Ramsdale. 5, His positioning is a worry.

Tomi. 5, Poor, Terrible back pass & never looked comfortable.

Saliba, 6, Never looked comfortable, slightly better than Gabriel though.
Gabriel. 5, Struggled all night against Haaland. Got lucky with an offside decision or it was a pen.

Zinchenko. 5, Ok no more, almost gifted City a goal.

Jorginho. 6, A good 1st half but he's nowhere like a Partey replacement.

Granit Xhaka. 5, Another with a good first half. 2nd pretty average.

Odegaard. 5, Here comes the invisible man.

Bukayo Saka. 7, MOTM, A Great 1st half and cool as you like for the pen again. 2nd half quieter.

Eddie Nketiah. 4, 2 headed chances and squandered them both. Just not good enough.

Martinelli. 4, He's had his chance but is ineffective lately. Can see Trossard starting at Villa.
