Alex Ferguson Is Right
Coach

Sir Alex is right, he will not be getting an apology from Arsene Wenger. Which is a dreadful shame for Sir Alex is a man who knows how to lose graciously, apologise when wrong, and how to behave like a gentleman.
So in case you have forgotten the generosity of spirit that personifies the man, here are some high lights of the wonderful and gracious career that he is far too modest to remind us of.
Who can forget:
His sporting reaction to Arsenal knocking his team out of the FA Cup in 2003?
In the dressing room afterwards he managed to kick a stray boot into Beckham’s face requiring medical attention. According to reports the two then had to be separated to prevent them from fighting.
Of course Fergie apologised, it was a freak if he had tried to do it a million times he couldn’t repeat it (Aw come on Sir Alex you weren’t that bad a player), besides Beckham didn’t need any stitches
Or the way he rushes to condemn any of his players getting a red, unlike that nasty Wenger.
Warning Motson not to broadcast Alex refusing to answer a question about Keane’s third red in 14 games. "I don’t want to fcuking watch it! Cancel It! Fcuking make sure that does not go out! Motson pleaded he had been asked to ask the question. The compassionate Sir Alex replied "You fucking know the rules here!"
To avoid embarrassing the good Knight MOTD binned the footage – to show his gratitude, and help Motson understand the rules, he boycotted MOTD for several weeks.
Or how he doesn’t hide from adversity?
In November 2001 when Man U went through a bad spell Alex once again showed his sporting side and cancelled all media interviews for nearly a month, only agreeing to brief one journalist.
Or his good-natured ribbing of a journalist who questioned the wisdom of buying Veron?
"Listen, you have been going on about Veron. You tell me what’s f*cking wrong with Veron" After a bit more banter "Anyway, that’s finished. On you go."
Other journalists protested why couldn’t they discuss it further. Sir Alex replied "On you go. I’m not f*cking talking to you. He’s a f*cking great player. Yous are fucking idiots."
Or his sporting good wishes to Mourhino when Porto knocked Man U out of the CL?
How Sir Alex, however disappointed, rushed up and warmly shook the hands of the man who engineered his European downfall wishing all the best in the future.
Who was first to ring Jose when Porto won the CL? Need we ask?
These memorable moments are only a few examples from this warm-hearted man’s life. So if you feel any of your favourites are missing then send them in to Arsenal Times. Or even better send money so we can raise a statue to this great man. After all there is still an empty plinth in Trafalgar Square.
