Well I am not staying up to midnight to report whether or not Mrs Tweedy comes to Chelsea and whether or not Willie G goes to Emirates XI in part exchange and for a Kings Ransom fee in compensation.
Ashley Cole is a good player I have to admit. Ashley Cole is an England International and it could be come Saturday afternoon that Chelsea will have another England International in their ranks, oh happy, happy days!! But won't it be a BIG smack in the mouth for Chelsea's current left-back Wayne Bridge, who will not only lose his place to Cole at Chelsea, but see Cole line-up as England's left-back as a Chelsea player against Andorra. Poor old Wayne. Unless a 'miracle miracle' happens in the next few hours, Wayne will have to remain at Chelsea and fight it out with Cole at least until January when the transfer window opens again. Why oh why have Jose and Chelsea perservered with getting Cole to sign is beyond me?? We all know what happened last year and we all know the result of the outcome. Cole got done. Chelsea got done, and I think the Emirates XI fans got done as well - not that I really care, but you get my drift. And if the truth be known I think Chelsea fans will get done too!! Bridge has had his problems since signing for Chelsea from Southampton. Injuries more than most have blighted his time at the Bridge but Wayne will be fondly remembered for his wonderful goal at the 'old Crybury' in the Champions League a couple of years ago. The above is one reason why I prefer Bridge to Cole. Bridge gets forward and can score..... Cole gets forward and can score but off the pitch LOL LOL!! And here is another example of Bridge's goalscoring prowess for Chelsea. Chelsea beat Portsmouth 3-0 a few years ago, and Bridgey scored a wonderful goal and had the nerve to taunt the Pompey fans whilst celebrating. So what about Ashley Cole then? well.... well mmmmmm other than I don't want him at the club, that's it nothing else to say and thats why I am NOT staying up to Midnight!!! Enjoy your money Emirates XI..... after all you do have a NEW stadium to pay for!!! COME ON CHELSEA, KEEP WILLIE G 41 YEARS A BLUE!
