Fernandes came off after five minutes with a hip injury and was replaced by Football Icon winner Sam Hurrell, who went to left-back pushing Elmer into left midfield and five minutes from time, Lee Sawyer was sent-off for fighting.

Superstar in the making 17 yr old Israeli Youth International Ben Sahar came off the bench to score his third goal and Chelsea's second goal in as many youth games.

"Miroslav did a great dribble but lost the ball, but there was great pressure from him, Ben and Sergio, and Sergio blocked the clearance which went to Ben and he scored easily. Afterwards we controlled the game."

In Kaiser's post match analysis, he said "We have to score the second goal earlier when we are playing like that. Every team will get a chance in a game, and sometimes like Cardiff they will score. But I was very pleased with the way we kept going. It showed good character."
