The Reserves make a welcome return to action this evening after a three week break when they take on the Reserves of Watford at The Recreation Ground, home of Aldershot Town FC.
The game kicks off at 7pm and you can get all the updates, scores, scorers from this time on the message board. New Goalkeeper, Magnus Hedman, 33 year old Swedish International makes his competitive debut for Chelsea (although he did play in a recent friendly at Cobham against Crystal Palace as Chelsea won 3-1). Chelsea's side tonight contains mainly players from the Academy, due to the recent loans and injuries to members of the Reserve team squad. There is no JImmy Smith and Michael Mancienne who are both on loan at QPR and by all accounts, especially Jimmy, doing extremely well. Also in the starting line-up is Lassana Diarra - the Claude Makelele mini-me. Watford's line-up has more of a first team feel about it. In goal is veteran Alec Chamberlain, Chris Powell and Dan Shittu in defence with Damien Francis forming part of Watford's attack.
