TRANSFER RUMOURS - Pinch of Salt Time!

Yes, just rumours, although with the media "pepper-shot" approach, at some point one or two of these rumours could come true! Micah Richards and Fernando Torres feature - not to mention who Schevchenko wants as our manager!

Spurs are supposed to be making a 10M bid for Micah Richards and are hoping that Chelsea´s "internal struggles" have put a halt to our signing him.  Funny how City would be prepared to let him go for 10M when they were quoting us 18M?  (or could Spurs be trying to do us a favour by getting them to show their hand?)  Nah! Being silly now aren´t I?

Apparantly we are close to clinching Ban Haim for a very acceptable 2M.

We´re signing Fernando Torres from Athletico Madrid for 20M in the summer - although this is supposed to be against The Special One´s wishes.

Shevchenko has told his mate Roman that he would like Carlo Ancelotti at the helm of Stamford Bridge and funnily enough, Mourinho is going to pick him for the Anfield clash this weekend!  (talk about the press covering the angles! - Nothing to do with the fact that he is now fit and ready to go after coming back from injury of course!).

....and Chelsea transfer agent leech, Pini Zahavi, has trousered another 3M for himself for the sale of Middlesbrough signing, Yakubu from Portsmouth!  (Nice work if you can get it!).
