Stand Up For the Chelsea!

I think it is about time that this site, The Shed 'Unofficial Chelsea,' took time to acknowledge the superb record that Chelsea Football Club has in being unbeaten at home in the Premiership for over four years and for EIGHTY-ONE games. For the record of the EIGHTY-ONE games, Chelsea have won 60, drawn 21, scored 166 goals, conceded 41 and amassed an incredible 201 points.
Now unless you are a Gooner, you probably won't remember who was the last team to beat us at The Bridge. On Saturday 21st February 2004 under the tenureship of Claudio Ranieri, Arsenal won 2-1. Since then and including last Saturday's fantastic win over Man Utd, we have had some tremendous performances as well as the dour. The run been conducted by THREE different managers: Claudio Ranieri, Jose Mourinho and Avram Grant. Stamford Bridge is truly a fortress and 'WE'VE GOT NO HISTORY!!' The great Liverpool side used to hold this record (around 62-63 games unbeaten at home in the league?) and we´ve gone well past that!
Of course, one day, the record will go - be nice to get to a 100 though!
