Drogba 200% Part of Scolari Plans

Scolari has stated in his press conference this morning that Drogba is “200%” part of his plans for the next phase in the Chelsea revolution. Drogba has yo-yoed between staying and leaving for the last few seasons at Chelsea but appeared to have decided that he wants to stay a few weeks ago – barring Drogba being used as a bargaining chip for a big deal it looks as though he´s staying.

The Ivorian forward has been heavily linked with both Inter and AC Milan all summer

"I saw Didier on Monday and I saw him happy. We had a good conversation,” said Scolari.

"Is he part of my plans? Yes, 100%. No, 200%!  I like him and want him to stay."

Scolari´s words make a mockery of Ian McGarry´s words in The Sun recently that claimed the new Chelsea manager had instructed Chelsea suits to ship Drogba out.

Scolari had a long chat with Drogba about his knee injury and to confirm that the player wants to continue at Chelsea.

AC Milan technical director Leonardo may have to give up on signing Drogba now although a few days ago he stated that they may be willing to wait:

"Drogba is a fine player. We are waiting for the right time to move."

Milan vice president Gallini recognises that his club are short of cash but are still not prepared to sell Kaka – which is the ONLY way I can see Drogba leaving now.

LOL!

I actually think that the club are tempted to let him go BUT he actually wants to stay.

Unless there´s a really decent bid - or the chance exists of making a big transfer signing where Drogba is used to help the deal along, then he´ll stay.
