Terry: We are Destined to Meet Jose Again

Chelsea captain John Terry believes Chelsea are destined to face Jose Mourinho in the Champions League this season. In his latest report on Chelsea TV, Terry spoke on the Champions League, new manager Scolari and the differences in pre-season training compared to previous regimes.
First up – meeting “The Special One” again:“
All the lads are already saying we’ll get Inter in the Champions League and you just know we probably will meet them.”
“Jose was a top manager and someone I loved working with. But it was a change the club made so we’ve moved on and moved forward.”
Terry went on to comment on training under Scolari:
“Pre- season has been very different this year.
“Under Jose we never did any running but with Scolari we’ve had our trainers on and done 1,000 metres, which is similar to the Vialli and Ranieri style of thinking.
“Now we all feel really good and well prepared for our opener against Portsmouth.
“Scolari understands football and the lads. I was really pleased when Peter Kenyon phoned to tell me they were going to announce his appointment.
“I first met him at a game he came to watch and chatted for 15 minutes. I was phoning people afterwards telling them that I’d met him and what a great guy he was.
“Then it turns out some time later that he’s our new boss.”
For the forthcoming season Terry spoke of the determination of the squad “to put things right” after finishing last season without any silverware:
“After the success we’ve had over the last four or five years, to come away without a trophy was disappointing.”
“But I’ve since noticed a real togetherness off the field which I’ve never seen among a group of players before.”
“When the chips are down, the manager changing and different things happening at the club, it’s awesome to see all the players coming together and being so open with each other.
"I’ll never forget that. And I think that has taken us to another level.
“Manchester United have had two good years and last season I think we saw the very best of them.
“I think they are at their peak but we’ve still got an awful lot more to come. We can make big improvements on last season.”
“We’ve had a talk among the lads and the Premier League is the one we’re after. That’s the one we want to get back from United.”
I reckon he could be right about silverware - could well be the CL rather than the PL though?
There is ALOT more to come from them. Tevez, Nani, Anderson are all going to improve.
Rooney and Ronaldos only 22 and 23.
The majority of the team is young far from their peak.
It´s going to be an incredible battle this season - and other teams are raising their bar as well.
