Lampard in his own Words on new Deal

After today’s “World Exclusive” (cough!) Frank Lampard has spoken on Chelsea TV explaining the background to events this summer and revealed that a compromise was arrived at by both club and player in order to give him the five-year deal he wanted. At last, save perhaps one more signing before the deadline, we can now concentrate on the football.
Staying at Chelsea
"I see it as my final big contract and I will play out my days at Chelsea,"
"I want to finish my career at Chelsea. It is something I've said many times and, after signing this contract, I am very happy and positive I will finish as a player here."
