As reported yesterday, Didier Drogba WILL start for the reserves tonight away to Woolwich at Barnet's Underhill Stadium. The game kicks-off at 7pm and there will be LIVE updates on the board from this time. As you know, Dids hasn't played for Chelsea since he disgraced himself in the Champions League final and reports suggest he has put in a solid week's training with the first team.

Also in the squad and on the subs bench is new signing Fabio Paim.

Tonight's team is a mixture of youth and youth, in fact SEVEN players were in last season's FA Youth Cup final against Man City - Chelsea have England U19 international Scott Sinclair, 16yr old defender Jeffrey Bruma and midfielder 17yr old Jacob Mellis.

Also in tonight's team is Football Icon winner Carl Magnay (the next John Terry) and full Welsh international goalkeeper Rhys Taylor.

Chelsea TV announced that Chelsea are in talks with Bordeaux and Roma to play reserve matches around about the time of the CL group games.

So our reserves will be mainly youth age - says a lot about how our training team rate our youngsters.

I can just imagine Arsenal youngsters centre-halfs faces when they see Drogba running towards them!

inside the first minute - Drogba sends in Sinclair - shot blocked then from the corner ball finds its way to Stoch who shoots from the edge of the area and the Woolwich fumbles it away for a corner

From the Simpson shot Chelsea lost possession easily and then Woolwich's Merida had a shot which went close and then close intricate play outside Chelsea's area, saw Randall skip through two challenges before chipping over Taylor

Arsenal playing the better football at the moment - we are not clicking yet.

Arsenal do look a bit square at the back sometimes though and might get caught out.

Stoch and Mellis looking good.

You can tell Drogba is holding back but I imagine he´s under instructions to do so - no point in aggrevating that knee when its almost healed.

Ref seems VERY biased towards Arsenal though.
