NI and England U21s Want Carl

Carl Magnay, lauded by some as the 'next John Terry, is in the middle of an extraordinary battle between Northern Ireland U21s and England U21s. Carl, the 2nd winner of Football Icon when Jose was gaffer, has been called up for Northern Ireland's U21s to play Scotland next week and even though Carl is 'Geordie' through and through, Carl grandparents hail from Londonderry.
Carl has cemented his place in Chelsea's Reserves and although he is a tough tackling no-nonsense centre-half, he has put in some wonderful displays at left-back. Stuart Pearce, England's U21 boss has been alerted of the approach and it appears he has advised Carl not to travel to Scotland as he is being considered for England's U21 European finals campaign, next Summer in Sweden.
He seems to look up to JT and I´m sure once Terry gets a whiff of this he´ll have a word.
With NI he´d no doubt get more opportunity NOW to play full internationals whereas he´d probably have to wait a couple of years at least for England (assuming his trajectory in form continues as it has). Hopefully he´ll have a bit more ambition and opt for the three lions shirt.

"It is born out of hypocrisy and fundamental insecurity. There have been two kids on the block for the past 12 years. Suddenly, there is a third and that one is threatening to be more successful than the others and they don’t like it." P Kenyon.
I am sure not only will JT have a word, but Coley, Bridgey and Ash will do too!
