The Academy have gone on their travels again, back to the States, this time to the warm and sunny climes of Orlando, Florida. They are there to take part in Disney's Soccer Showcase which is one of the biggest football tournament held in the USA. There are 428 teams taking part between U15 and U18 age groups.

Chelsea and Disney have joined together in 2007 to help promote grass roots and professional football in America and Chelsea are the OFFICIAL professional football club of Disney's Wide World of Sport and Chelsea are the presenting sponsor of Disney's Soccer Showcase series.

Each team is guaranteed to play a minimum of three games and our Academy played their first game yesterday evening beating DC United 4-2.

Today 2.30pm (local time) The Academy play Lonestar SC 92 Red from Texas.
