Robinho missing as Kaka turns down City

Reports are appearing in the media that as Kaka turns down a stratospheric deal with Manchester City, Robinho has gone missing from the clubs Tenerife training camp. The two events are apparently linked and if true, no doubt Chelsea suits ears will be pricked like an Alsatian at the gate waiting for the postman to arrive.
Milan are milking the most from the Kaka non-deal with a “money isn’t everything” posture after days of protests from Milan fans.
Who knows who really halted negotiations but Silvio Berlusconi said:
"Kaka stays. He has decided that he doesn't want the money of Manchester City. He wants to stay with us here. It is official now that he is staying at Milan.'
"For Kaka money is not everything. It was my intervention but also his that stopped this.
'When it surfaced that he wanted to stay and did not care about the salary and had decided to put the club and its supporters ahead of everything else I said "come on" and we hugged.'
Hmmm..well, anyway...
Luiz Felipe Scolari and the rest of the world pretty much took as given that Robinho would join Chelsea in the summer before City became rich literally overnight and clinched the deal with Real Madrid in the closing hours of the transfer window.
Robinho has been in regular contact with Kaka and suddenly left City’s training base. The City forward is said to have his unstable side with some claiming he needed mental help (although this may have been down to his agent poorly managing his player - an agent whom he fired directly after the transfer to Manchester City).
The young Brazilian has not failed to impress so far in the Premier League and has left many Chelsea fans with the words “If only!” ringing in their heads, but whether Robinho could make a second transfer this season therefore playing for three clubs (if Real Madrid’s summer matches count) is another matter.
Certainly with Kaka not joining City the possibility of finally signing Robinho in the summer might not be so remote.

Actually I´m on your side re you perhaps in the future breaking into the party created by the old guard of clubs withe the PL and G14.
If it wasn´t for the possibility of getting Robinho I would have loved you to get Kaka.

Hughes said: "Robbie left without permission, he felt that he had personal things that he needed to attend to.
"He made the decision to leave the camp and go back to Brazil. That was not with my permission.
"The situation at the moment is not really practical to get him back here with time differences and length of flights, so he will be back at the weekend ready to train when we are back in Manchester."
Sparky added: "Once he is back, I will sit down with him and explain my feelings and decisions will be made after that.
"He has rung me and he understands that we need to address this — and we will. Then we will move on.
"He obviously felt there were certain things he needed to address back home and so, wrongly, he made that decision to go back to Brazil.
"But he will be back at the weekend, then we will make sure that he knows my feelings and I am sure we will get a more detailed explanation from Robbie."
Hughes has also rubbished rumours suggesting Robinho's decision to walk out was linked with Kaka snubbing a move to Eastlands.
The Welshman said: "He has already said that himself and he was on a plane back to Brazil when the Kaka deal was dead and buried.
"People trying to link the two are trying to cause a little bit of mischief."
