In last nights match programme, Chelsea outlined arrangements the FA have put in place to remember the victims of the Hillsborough disaster 20 years ago. Another Liverpool disaster that happened four years after Heysel. Until Woolwich fans attend 'Corporate City' tonight for their Champions League 1/4 Final 2nd leg against Villarreal, they probably won't know what those arrangements are.
So as an 'exclusive,' the arrangements for the FA to stage their own memorial (might this tribute have something to do with the FA declining Liverpool's request for 'swapping ends' with Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough, I don't know) are as follows:
Representatives of the Hillsborough Family Support Group (HFSG) and Liverpool Football Club will be invited to Wembley's pitchside before kick-off.
Then a tannoy announcement will be made with the following words:
"Twenty years ago, 96 supporters tragically lost their lives at Hillsborough. To mark this anniversary, the FA chairman Lord Triesman and the captains of both Arsenal and Chelsea would like to present the HFSG with commemorative flowers."
Then further according to last night's programme, the team captains and Lord Triesman will then make the presentation to two members of the HFSG (no doubt one of them will be Trevor Hicks, who told people off at today's memorial service for standing up and told THE KOP in future to sit stand down for home matches indefinitely) and both captains and teams will clap them (HFSG) off the pitch.
Chelsea FC have threatened to take serious sanctions against those Chelsea fans disrespecting this 'FA tribute.'
How can Chelsea take sanctions against their own fans? It is a FA tribute and not a club tribute after all.
Chelsea and Liverpool Football Clubs showed their respect last night by wearing black armbands, how Chelsea can take sanctions against any fan is beyond me....
What can a Chelsea fan be done for? Not clapping or singing 'We're Going To Rome, We're Going to Roommmmme, So FCUK Your History, We're Going to Rome!!'

Thw word is that many will stay on the concourse anyway and not go to their seat until kick-off.

it would be retarded if its a minute of silence but its the fa we are talking about so i wont be surprised
and why the @#$%& is this tragedy getting this sort of treatments?
i dont remember the fa doing anything like this during the 20th anniversary of the heysel disaster and/or the bradford
fire
i suppose the 96 who sadly died 20 years ago are more important then those who died in heysel and bradford
