Chelsea: New deal for Joe Cole

The media are reporting that Joe Cole will be offered a new four-year deal in the summer. The figure is quoted at around £100,000-a-week and would represent a demonstration of faith in a mercurial player who has displayed exceptional dedication.
We all know what Joe is capable and an unfortunate one fit season in three has been a big loss for us. His most recent big injury happened in January when he damaged knee ligaments against Southend in the FA Cup.
His recuperation has been going extremely well – so well that the club sent him away for a break in Abu Dhabi recently.
Joe should be fit just in time to begin pre-season training in the States in the summer when the new contract should be signed.
Good news indeed – and let’s not forget that he is Chelsea through and through, working as a ball-boy at the Bridge and coming from a Chelsea supporting family.

I saw him on Tuesday night. He looked very well and was walking well too

joe's my favorite football player...

He´ll be back pre-season Leila.
